Saugerties Students Sing and Perform Solos During Spring Recital
Throughout the evening, students stepped onto the stage individually to share their talents through piano performances, vocal selections, and band instruments. Performing alone in front of an audience takes courage, preparation, and confidence, and each student demonstrated remarkable strength and dedication.
The recital was a wonderful celebration of music and personal growth. Whether playing a favorite piece or singing a solo, every performer embraced the opportunity to shine and inspired those in attendance with their hard work and perseverance.

On June 12, 159 Grade 8 students from Saugerties Junior High School celebrated an important milestone as they moved up to Grade 9 during a ceremony held in the Saugerties High School Auditorium.
Saugerties Central School District is proud of the students who took part in the Music Department’s annual Spring Recital.

Grade 7 and Grade 8 students in Kathleen McPeek’s Ag Explorers and Intro to Agriculture classes recently enjoyed a hands-on lesson that combined science, agriculture, business, and a sweet treat!
